Ogie Diaz, in the July 5 episode of his Showbiz Update, talked about Jennylyn Mercado and the network transfer rumors surrounding her.

In the vlog, which he co-hosts with Mama Loi and Tita Jegs, Ogie said he was able to talk to someone from ABS-CBN regarding the rumors.

"Eh diba na-tsismis din nga si Jennylyn Mercado, na siya ay lilipat na bilang Kapamilya, oo, at syempre sinimulan daw ito sa Star Music kung saan nagre-recording si Jennylyn," Ogie began.

According to Ogie's source, it would not look good if ABS-CBN took Jennylyn in, especially since GMA and ABS have a friendship formed now.

"So ito na nga yung isyu, may nakausap ako from ABS-CBN na sa Star Music lang talaga, for now ay hindi nila naisip pa na kunin si Jennylyn kasi nga syempre alam mo, ito nga yun sabi ng source ko, 'Ogie, hindi naman maganda na may friendship ang ABS-CBN at GMA. Porke nawala sa GMA eh sasaluhin namin. Syempre, hindi rin naman para isangla yun friendship namin with GMA-7. Pwedeng mag-collab,'" Ogie recounted.
