Dennis Trillo drew flak due to the viral comments about ABS-CBN from his TikTok page, @dennistrilloph.

On the video-sharing app, one netizen took to the comments section of Dennis’ latest post and asked if Jennylyn Mercado would jump to ABS-CBN since she was not included in the new GMA Network Station ID.

"Kuya dennis sana masagot mo ito bakit wala si ma'am Jen sa GMA STATION ID at totoo ba na lilipat na siya sa ABC CBN," a TikTok user queried.

"May ABS pa ba?" Dennis’ TikTok replied.

The account also penned a harsh reply when a netizen commented, “Ang kapal magtanong kung may ABS pa ba, kahit alam niyang may gagawin ang asawa niya sa Star Music.”

“Iba ang ABS sa star music ateng, isip isip din bago mag comment. Baka ikaw ang makapal,” his now-deleted response reads.

Aguila Entertainment general manager Jan Enriquez then posted a statement claiming that the actor’s TikTok account has been hacked.

“We would like to inform the public that Dennis Trillo’s TikTok account was hacked around noontime today, July 1, 2024. Several comments were made using his name, and we assure everyone that these remarks did not come from Dennis. He is known for his kindness and respect, and these comments are out of character for him. We are currently addressing the issue to prevent it from happening again. Thank you.”

In his earlier post on X, formerly Twitter, Jan also clarified that Dennis is currently busy taping for GMA’s upcoming war series, “Pulang Araw.”

“We are investigating the situation but do know na hindi po si Dennis yun. He is currently taping for Pulang Araw and have limited access to his phone as per his PA. We advise the public not to jump into conclusions with regard to this incident.”

Dennis Trillo is a Kapuso actor, recording artist, and model. He is known for playing the role of Eric del Mundo in "My Husband’s Lover." He also played the role of Crisostomo Ibarra and Simoun in the multi-awarded series "Maria Clara at Ibarra." He likewise starred in several movies such as "Mano Po III: My Love," "Mulawin: The Movie," "Mano Po 6: A Mother's Love," "You're Still the One," and many more. His awards include Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor.
