“That was part of his punishment for him to learn. To appreciate home, family.

The actress also said that unknown to Diego, she could see him on a small monitor where she would watch him eat the food she sent him.

Nagpapadala ako ng pagkain,” she revealed.

Teresa also recalled that one time when the only thing that separated her from her son was a tarp. She said she was made to promise by rehab facility officials to keep quiet and not to let Diego sense she was there.

“There was one time, tarpaulin lang ang pagitan namin. May butas yung tarpaulin. Sabi sa akin, ‘You have to promise tatahimik ka. Hindi ka magpaparamdam’,” the veteran actress said.

She then revealed what kept her going during that time and looking back, can now say whether or not she did the right thing.

“You know what, prayers, prayers, and neverending prayers and pasasalamat talaga. Dun ako kumapit. Grabe!” she said.
Haaay, ang hirap, pero look!” the actress further said.
