Teresa Loyza admitted feeling deep regret over what happened to her son, Diego Loyzaga, a few years back.

In her interview with Tito Boy Abunda over “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” Teresa said Diego lost his way in the past and got hooked on some substances.

The veteran actress said there were times she blames herself over what happened to her son in the past because she felt she was remiss on some of her obligations as a mother.

“I wasn’t always there, even if I try to be always be there. I just couldn’t. Somebody had to work. Somebody had to put food on the table,” Teresa revealed during the interview.

“Somebody had to put a roof over their heads. Somebody had to put them to school,” she added.

Teresa also said she tried her best to be everything but ultimately has to admit she can’t be everything.

“I really tried so hard to be everything, but I cannot be everything,” Teresa said.

Lest anyone would misinterpret her, Teresa said she’s not saying such things in the interview to degrade other people.

She said she’s just simply narrating all these things so people would know about the situation in the past and how she dealt with it.

“And please, I am not saying these na I’m degrading other people. No. Wala akong pinupuntiryang mga wala doon,” the veteran actress said.
“Yun ang sitwasyon namin so I dealt with it, the best way I could,” Teresa said during her interview with Tito Boy.

Diego is the son of Teresa with ex-partner, actor Cesar Montano.

Teresa Loyzaga is a Filipina actress who gained more popularity after becoming the main antagonist in “Pasión De Amor.” She was born on November 13, 1965. Diego Loyzaga is her son to former partner Cesar Montano.

Last May, Teresa took to social media to greet her beloved son on his birthday. It can be recalled that Diego turned 29 years old last May 21 of this year. On Instagram Stories, the veteran actress shared throwback photos of the actor. Along with the pics, Teresa put a sticker with the words “Happy Birthday.”

In the accompanying caption in the birthday post she made for Diego, Teresa wrote about how time flew real fast, expressed her wish for Diego, and reiterated her love for her son.
