The governor is 80 years old and their wedding was held at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Batangas.

According to a report by ABS-CBN, the governor and Angelica wed after three months of dating.

Speaking with ABS-CBN, Angelica explained how their love story started.

She said that they don't have any legal impediment, so if she would only be looking at the age gap, then she would forego it. However, the qualities of the governor outweighed their 48-year age gap and she found the governor to be her ideal person.
