- He said that at the outset, the character appeared too far from his real self but near the end of the series, Donny found out the character has become the closest to him and has become his most absorbed in.

Donny Pangilinan, in a recent post on his Instagram account, shared his farewell message to his character, “Bingo,” of the hit TV series, “Can’t Buy Me Love,” or “CBML.”

He then reminisced about the time that the production team pitched him the character of “Bingo.”

The actor said that in the beginning, the character he’s portraying seemed too far from his real self.

However, near the end of the series, he found out “Bingo’s” character has become the closest to him

“For as long as we both shall live,” Donny said in the beginning of his post.
“I remember the team pitched me the character of Bingo about a year ago. Its ironic - at the time, the character seemed so far from myself… and yet, as we end, it’s one I’ve become closest and most absorbed in,” the actor added.

He then proceeded to thank everyone who made it possible for him to portray a role in “CBML.”

“Thank you @starcreativestv for giving life to Bingo - and for creating a show that became a part of so many of our lives for 9 months,” he said.

“Thank you to all the staff and crew for your hard work, and the dedication to be able to complete a project with 148 episodes,” Donny added.

The actor also proceeded to thank the directors of “CBML,” saying that they were the ones who kept him motivated.

“To our directors - @kaybash1326 , @ianlorenos , @awarewolves, @raymsocampo, @henrykingquitain, @dexterddp88, especially direk @maecruzalviar, your guidance and diligence to execute despite time constraints, script revisions, conflicts in sched and more is inspiring and kept us motivated to work,” he said.
“Thank you ❤️,” says the actor.

Donny also said he’s very honored to share the stage with the rest of the cast.

“To the cast, it was an honor sharing the stage with you! I look up to you and am inspired by your commitment and love for your craft,” he said.
“To our supporters- who have stayed through thick and thin. Thank you for all your efforts, your feedback, your criticism, your appreciation, and above all just welcoming this show. Mahal namin kayo,” the actor further said.

In a recent social media post, Donny raised the excitement of many of their fans with his latest post. In his post, one can see Donny riding a motorcycle with his co-star in “Can’t Buy Me Love,” Belle Mariano riding at the back. The thing that really excited netizens, however, was the caption of Donny in his post where he asked Belle a question. The said question even made some celebrities like Ruffa Gutierrez to exclaim “OMG.”

Meanwhile, a video post of Donny dancing to the tune of "Pantropiko" has gone viral. The footage is said to have come from one of their mall shows where the actor appeared with Belle Mariano and other members of the cast of "Can't Buy Me Love."
