As reported earlier by KAMI, Vice Ganda slammed Sotto for saying that trans women can never be women because they do not have ovaries and they cannot get pregnant.
“Joke po ba ito Hon. Senate President Tito Sotto??? Sinasabi nyo po ba na naniniwala kayo na ang pagiging BABAE ay nasusukat lamang sa pagkakaroon ng obaryo o matris at sa kakayahan lang na mabuntis o magka-anak?
“Paumanhin po HON. SENATE PRESIDENT Sotto. Pero i believe this statement is just not fair. There are people who pretend to be FEMINISTS to hide their being MISOGYNISTS,” Vice posted on Instagram.
Tito Sotto, whose full name is Vicente Castelo Sotto III, is the incumbent Senate President of the Philippines. He started out as a comedian, hosting the longest-running noontime variety show “Eat Bulaga” with Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon.
