Gary Valenciano, in a comment to the recent post of Iza Calzado, expressed his gratitude to the actress for writing down words that for him were very encouraging to read.

He also expressed happiness at being able to play a role in the life of the actress through his music and the messages they carry.

“Thank you Iza. These words are so very encouraging for me to read. I’m happy to have been able to play my role in your life through my music and its messages,” Gary wrote in his reply.

The singer-songwriter then wished Iza well and also thanked the actress’ husband, Ben, for being present at his concert called ‘Pure Energy: One Last Time’.

As to the proposal of Iza for him and the actress to do a movie someday, Mr. Pure Energy expressed openness to do so.

“God bless you my friend. Yes doing a movie with you is something I will always keep my doors open to. Thank Ben too for being there. See you soon k? ” Gary wrote in his comment.

Gary Valenciano is one of the most famous OPM artists and a television host in the Philippines. He is known as “Mr. Pure Energy” for his energetic and intense performances. He is married to Maria Anna Elizabeth "Angeli" Pangilinan, the sister of Senator Francis Pangilinan. They have three children: Paolo Valenciano, Gab Valenciano, and Kiana Valenciano.

Gary V has denied rumors in an interview with Ogie Diaz that he would be retiring from showbiz and then made clarifications on the title of his show, which he indicated could be his last major concert in a big venue. According to Mr. Pure Energy, he would continue to perform as long as his heart continue to beat.

Another big name in the music industry has also expressed his admiration for Gary V, whom he said has been his inspiration all along. Ogie Alcasid, in a previous social media post, said Mr. Pure Energy's life has been his inspiration. Both singer-songwriters were former members of the famous “Kundirana,” a music ministry group from La Salle Green Hills. According to Ogie, he’s been following the career and music of Gary V, his former mentor at Kundirana. He also proudly declared that he and Gary V have become brothers for life.
