Kris Bernal, a Filipina celebrity, recently penned an honest and raw message about choosing motherhood over her career ambitions.

On April 4, Thursday, Kris reposted a quote card from @motheruntitled that said, "Taking a career pause for family life is not a step back."

According to the quote card, it is simply a step into a new direction and not necessarily a step back at one's career ambitions in life.

Following this post, Kris penned a short but meaningful message about her case, saying she has always been very driven in her ambitions.

"I couldn't help but to feel like a different person. I have always been very driven by my professional and business ambitions and for some reason I didn't care anymore and was ready to drop everything to become a stay-at-home mother," she confessed.

Halfway through her online post, Kris said she knows she will never be the same person again, but can be better, wiser, stronger, and kinder.

"I know that I will never be the same person again. But, I can be better, wiser, stronger, and kinder. Sending love to all new moms still struggling in this new you. I see you. I am you," she wrote.
