Rica Peralejo has taken to Instagram and shared her experience dealing with the Tagalog setting of Google.

The former actress said that she was not born rich, but she understands English more due to the fact that the medium used by the educational system during her time was English.

She narrated how it took quite a while before she finally understood that "share" was "IBAHAGI."

In her post, Rica explained she didn’t come from a rich family and they’re not actually an English-speaking bunch.

However, she said that since at the time, the educational system is English-based, she’s more comfortable using English labels of common things.

"Hindi naman po ako anak mayaman and hindi inglesera ang family ko but because our educational system (at least sa time namin) is largely coursed through the English language than Tagalog,” Rica said.
“Nahihirapan talaga akong intindihin yung Tagalog in many areas so like yung Google ko ewan bakit naka-set sya sa Tagalog,” she added.

The celebrity mom and former actress then admitted that it took her a couple of seconds before realizing that “ibahagi” means “share” link.

“Grabe ilang seconds bago nag-clickin sakin an yung share link ay IBAHAGI. Grabe nakaka-lost pala pag ganito,” Rica said.
