To her surprise, however, netizens started writing their “get well soon” comments upon seeing the photo of the actress.

“Super touched naman ako sa mga nag get well soon pero same time medyo sad na hindi nila naappreciate yung papuri ko sa aking mother haha,” Rica said in her subsequent post.

She then expressed sadness that many people aren’t reading captions anymore, adding that she wished they would do so soon before they react to a post.

“This post proves how many people don't read captions anymore. I turned 43 this year and my wish is... Magbasa na ng captions yung mga tao bago sila magreact,” Rica said.

The former actress then lamented how will the nation do in the future if people are misled because they weren’t able to read the information given.

“At saka yung crafting ko ng message haha! At napaisip talaga ako na pano tayo as a nation misled by simply not reading into the things we get on our phones critically ano?” Rica, at the end of her post, asked.
