Arra San Agustin took to Instagram Stories and penned a heartfelt tribute to Jaclyn Jose. The latter passed away last Saturday, March 2 at the age of 60.

In her post, Arra shared a screenshot of an old message she received from the internationally acclaimed actress when they were working together.

In the said message, Jaclyn gave the Kapuso actress some uplifting words.

Jaclyn also said she was willing to help the young actress, who she considered her daughter.

“Kaya mo, andito ako to help you. Para na kitang anak.”

Along with the screengrab, Arra wrote, “Will never forget that night when I couldn't pull off a scene and she was there to guide and inspire afterwards.”

She continued, “Thank you for leaving an impact on my life, forever. Natutunan ko mahalin ang trabaho ko dahil sayo. I'll never forget you, tita Jane.”

Furthermore, Arra shared a clip where she could be seen having a scene with Jaclyn.

“R.I.P @jaclynjose,” she captioned.

Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck, also known by her stage name Jaclyn Jose, was a Filipino cinema and TV actress who had earned international critical acclaim. Jaclyn won the Best Actress award for the film “Ma' Rosa” at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She was also known for her roles in the films "Private Show", "White Slavery", and "Santa Juana". Jaclyn was the mother of another famous actress, Andi Eigenmann.
