Jean Garcia, in a recent post on her Instagram account, shared a short, but heartwarming, tribute for the late multi-awarded actress Jaclyn Jose.

Jaclyn, according to her daughter Andi Eigenmann, passed away after suffering from Myocardial infarction, or in layman’s terms, a heart attack.

Calling Jaclyn “a good friend and colleague,” Jean said that the late actress is an “amazing person” who left behind “a legacy of love and compassion.

“We’ve lost a good friend and colleague today. She was an amazing person and she leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion,” Jean wrote in her post.

While Jean admitted that Jaclyn’s journey was “too short,” she also praised the life lived by the multi-awarded actress for being “beautiful.”

“Her journey was too short, but it was beautiful,” Jean further said in her post.

She then promised the late actress that she would be in her heart forever and then bid her good friend a last farewell.

“We’ll remember you forever. Rest in peace dear Jane (Jaclyn Jose 1964-2024) ” Jean wrote in conclusion.

Jean Garcia, or Rosario Rodriguez Maitim in real life is a Pinay television and film actress. She was born on August 22, 1969 in Angeles City in Pampanga. Jean is best known for her portrayal of Madam Claudia Buenavista in the hit TV series Pangako Sa 'Yo, as well as for her role as Alvina Montenegro in Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita? She also portrayed the role of Karina "Rina" Mercado in the romantic TV series, “The Half Sisters.” Jean has two children, Jennica Garcia and Kotaro Shimizu.

Meanwhile, in an interview last year with Jean by Karen Davila, she narrated the time she was working in Japan when the role of Madam Claudia in "Pangako Sa'yo" was offered to her. She said that she was earning more than the preferred TF in the said TV series but nevertheless, she accepted it without any qualms. She also admitted that she accepted the role so she would be with her daughter Jennica most of the time.

In a separate post, this time on the social media platform TikTok, Jennica was spotted in a video dancing adorably with her son Kotaro. The mother and son are seen dancing adorably to the song 'New Flame'. There's also another video of Kotaro and Jean, which was captured during a dinner party. Just like their old videos, these new clips also received positive reactions from netizens.
