Gladys Reyes, a famous actress in the Philippines, is mourning the sudden passing of Jaclyn Jose, a veteran actress who was like an "ate" to her.

On Monday, March 4, Gladys took to her Instagram page to upload a video of their fun, heartwarming moments on the set of Apag.

According to Gladys, Jaclyn's passing stunned a lot of people. She then recalled their time together, from Lovingly Yours, Helen to Apag.

"Ate Jane @jaclynjose, nakakagulat naman, binigla mo kaming lahat. Ang dami nating pinagsamahan, simula 9 years old ako sa 'Lovingly Yours, Helen' hanggang dito sa huling movie natin na 'Apag,' di ka nagbago sakin. Isa itong vlog na 'to sa di ko makakalimutan na masayang bonding natin sa set," she wrote.

On Instagram, Gladys continued by thanking Jaclyn for all the tips and wisdom she has imparted to her, saying the latter became like a big sister.

"Salamat sa mga tips, pag-alaga mo sakin na parang ate kita talaga. Nabawasan na naman ng isang magaling at de kalibreng aktor ang industriya. Mami-miss namin ang nag-iisang Jaclyn Jose," she wrote.

Gladys Reyes is an actress who first rose to fame after starring as 'Clara' in the hit drama television series "Mara Clara" alongside Judy Ann Santos. She is married to Christopher Roxas, and they have four children together.
