The actress frankly said that her ideal man was actually the younger version of Rico back then.

She revealed that he was already her crush before, mainly due to the influence of her siblings who were fans of Rivermaya.

"Actually, 'yung gusto ko 'yung younger version ni Rico...Super crush ko talaga siya," Maris opened up.

Maris then explained that their love story started when she tweeted about her desire to collaborate with a musician in order to improve her music.
