Jericho Rosales, a former matinee idol in the local show business, expressed how proud he was of Kathryn Bernardo, who recently traveled solo.

On Saturday, February 17, Kathryn took to her Instagram page, @bernardokath, to upload a series of photos of the time she spent in Australia.

However, fans felt ecstatic for Kathryn as she revealed it was her first time to be traveling solo for a much-needed vacation with her friends.

In her viral online post, Kathryn explained each photo in her photo gallery and said, "Let’s start with day 1, shall we? Pic 1: First time to travel alone!"

She then gave different captions to each photo, delighting her fans and followers with her long update about her trip to Australia this year.

However, what also caught the attention of fans was Jericho's comment on Kathryn's post, where he said, "You go girl. Proudaya."

Jericho Rosales is a seasoned and award-winning actor. He's known as "Asia's Prince of Dramas" for his outstanding performances in various television shows. He married Kim Jones in Boracay on May 1, 2014. The couple, however, was confirmed to have split up in 2024. The actor also used to date Heart Evangelista and Kristine Hermosa.

As previously reported by KAMI, Jericho Rosales, in a comment on the post of Kathryn Bernardo, jokingly campaigned for her to become president. He did not specify, however, whether he wanted the actress to be president of an organization or the country. The actor made the comment in the post of Kath where she shared a video montage of her contract signing recently with ABS-CBN.

Meanwhile, Cristy Fermin, in the latest episode of her show, reacted to the several spottings of Kathryn Bernardo and Jericho Rosales. Earlier, photos and videos of the two went viral among netizens on social media. On Cristy Ferminute, the veteran columnist said she believes the two are hanging out for a project.
