Mommy Min Bernardo, the mother of actress Kathryn Bernardo, became emotional as Kath was delivering her speech during her contract signing with ABS-CBN on Feb. 2, 2024.

Initially, one could see Mommy Min, looking down, trying to hold back the tears as evidenced by her flushed face.

However, when Kath, who was also emotional, talked about how hard last year was for her, Mommy Min cried.

She also tried to wiper her tears with a hanky.

"To my friends and my family, grabe yung pagpapahalaga ko sa mga taong naririyan, so lahat, yung mga wala sa video, alam niyo na kung sino kayo. Last year was a very very hard time for me, and it's so hard to find real friends in the industry. So eto lang, wala, pinrove lang nila na ano, possible pala na makahanap ka ng mabuting tao sa industriya."
