In the latest episode of Cristy Ferminute, the veteran columnist said Kathryn's recent beach photos earned mixed responses from netizens online.

"Yung kay Kathryn Bernardo, hindi kagandahan ano? Hindi kagandahan itong mga huling nababasa natin, nasusulat, at tsaka yung mga komentong tinatanggap niya," she said.

According to Cristy, there are people who cannot understand Kathryn nowadays, saying Kathryn is savoring her days as a "babaeng malaya."

"May mga di nakakaunawa kay Kathryn ngayon dahil sabi nga natin, ngayon pa lang niya sinasamantala ang panahon para siya ay makapaglibang at mapatunayan at maranasan ang pagiging babaeng malaya," she said.

However, Cristy also gave a word of advice to Kathryn, saying, "Dapat yung ifini-flex, iniingatan din yan."

She also added, "Hindi naman natin masasabing nagwawalwal si Kathryn pero piliin, anak. Piliin ang dapat ipakita sa publiko, para hindi ka nakakatanggap ng mga negatibong pahayag at komento."
