Lolit Solis has taken to IG and shared her thoughts on the heavy traffic in the country, particularly that in Manila.

The veteran columnist discussed it after Coldplay was able to notice it as well and mentioned it during the group's concert.

Manay said that she is quite liberal and the traffic situation in the Philippines does not affect her.

"At talagang wala ng tatalo sa traffic natin na napansin din ng Coldplay ha. Pero dahil siguro may pagka liberal ako, hindi ako apektado ng traffic natin. Gaya nga ng sabi ko, kung traffic lang hindi mo matanggap, di lalo na ang mas malaking problema sa buhay. Nandiyan na iyon traffic mula pa nuon, dapat tanggap na ng kultura natin, hindi na dapat ika init ng ulo dahil parte na ng pang araw araw na buhay natin. Huwag na natin isisi sa gobyerno o kahit kanino. Tanggapin na natin at huwag ng ika stress."

In a recent Instagram post, Manay Lolit defended President Bongbong Marcos against those bashing him for using a helicopter to go to the Coldplay concert. It can be recalled that the British rock band held a concert at the sprawling Philippine Arena January 20 and 21. President BBM, along with First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, were among the celebrities who flocked to the arena, though they earned some degree of bashing for using a helicopter to go to the event. According to Manay Lolit, President BBM is doing a lot for the country and deserved a comfortable break, adding that going there using a chopper is befitting of his rank as the country’s leader.

Meanwhile, in another social media post, the veteran showbiz columnist expressed her thoughts on all the good things that are happening to Dingdong Dantes this year. The veteran columnist said that Dong is very busy, with all the projects and work that he has. She also said that those who work with Dong always like working with him. Manay then noted that with more work, there is more income, which makes Marian Rivera as "bonggang-bongga."
