Maris Racal was thrilled with the praises heaped upon her by actress Gladys Reyes during the interview of the latter by Diamond Star Maricel Soriano.

In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, Maris retweeted the news about the interview and added a short caption and emojis.

“huhu,” Maris wrote, adding some emojis that indicate she loved and was very touched by the gesture.

It can be recalled that Gladys, in an interview conducted by Diamond Star Maricel Soriano for her vlog, praised singer-actress Maris Racal for her skill in acting.

Earlier, Maricel was asking Gladys about whether she has worked with young actors in a project and how they were as co-workers.

“Awa naman ng Diyos, Nay, wala pa akong naka-work na alam mo na, hindi ba? Hindi naman uubra ang may attitude, hindi ba, Nay?” Gladys said.

“Napaka-marespeto ng mga bata naman na nakatrabaho ko,” she added.

Gladys then mentioned Maris and called her “one of the promising and talented actors” today.

She also said that she saw the passion of Maris when it comes to what she’s doing and the respect she gives to her co-workers.

“Si Maris po is one of the promising and talented actors that we have now,” the actress pointed out.

“Musikera din ’yong bata, and nakita ko rin 'yung kagustuhan niya doon sa ginagawa niya, iyong respeto niya sa katrabaho,” Gladys, during the interview, said.

She became prominent in 2014 after joining "Pinoy Big Brother: All In" where she placed second. She is now in a relationship with Rico Blanco, the singer, and they have also been sharing their photos and videos of their sweet moments on social media.

Maris was also recently praised by showbiz reporter and talent manager, Ogie Diaz, who said that Maris and his on-screen partner, Anthony Jennings, were really good in the TV series "Can't Buy Me Love." In his "Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update," Mama Ogs noted that he understood why they are having more scenes. Ogie said that because Maris and Anthony did so well, the reward was having more scenes.

Meanwhile, Maris, in a social media post, said that she cried when she read the script of the project that was pitched to her a couple of years ago. The singer-actress said that even if she already read it several times, it still brought tears to her eyes. She said that it is the kind of project that she would really be proud of because of the beauty of the message. Maris then thanked Direk Tonet Jadaone for choosing her to play the role in the said project, the filming of which has recently concluded.
