Ogie Diaz, in the latest "Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update," addressed fans of Andrea Brillantes who were accusing him of destroying the reputation of the actress.

According to the fans of Andrea, Ogie would like the actress to fall, however, Mama Ogs disagreed to this and in fact said that such accusations were not true.

Ogie emphasized that they would love Andrea to be able to share her side of the story.

"Hindi namin dyina-judge si Andrea. Nagkataon lang na may mga netizens na nagko-comment dito sa ating YouTube na pinag-iinitan daw namin si Andrea. Sinisiraan daw natin si Andrea. Winawasak daw natin si Andrea," Ogie narrated.

He then addressed fans and said that they should remember that no one can destroy oneself but himself.

"Lagi n’yong tatandaan, mga hija, lalo na ’yong mga baby bra warriors, ako’y naniniwala na walang p’wedeng sumira [sa’yo] kundi ang sarili mo, ’di ba? Ganu’n lang naman," he said.

Ogie Diaz is an actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was known as “Pekto” in the popular TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also behind the YouTube channel “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.” He became a successful talent manager and once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano.

In the same episode of “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update,” he also expressed his opinion on the recent long post of Xian Lim about how people should be more circumspect about the news they hear. According to Ogie, celebrities with real-life relationships should at least give their fans an assurance that the news about them isn’t true. He also said that such celebrities “owe it to their fans” to at least explain their real status. The showbiz reporter and talent manager also said that there are only three words that Xian needed to say in order to assure their fans.

Previously, he released a statement about his controversial report about an alleged rumor about Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, and Andrea Brillantes. It can be recalled that Ogie was subjected to bashing and was even accused of being a fake news peddler because of that report. He clarified, however, that he was not the source of the rumor, and like most, he also hoped the rumors were not true.
