Rosmar Tan, in a recent social media post, admitted she used to be afraid of the government tax agency, Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

She said that since 2015, she already had physical stores and every time there is a scheduled tax mapping, she would immediately feel anxious even if she possesses complete documents.
The social media influencer, however, said that when she became a BIR Ambassadress in 2022, it was then she realized there’s nothing to be afraid of after all.
“Dati takooot din ako sa bir ❤️. 2015 pa ako may business (Physical Store) takooot na takooot ako everytime na may TAX MAPPING sa mga stores ko. ewan basta kinakabahan ako pag sinabing BIR. kahit may mga documents ako” Rosmar wrote in her post.

“Pero nung naging BIR AMBASSADRESS ako last year narealize ko na wala naman dapat ikatakooot basta nagcocomply ka sa kanila,” she added.
Rosmar also revealed that she even paid the Donor’s Tax for the PhP1M she and her husband received from her parents during their wedding, adding she also did the same during the wedding of her sibling.
“Ultimo yung sinabit sa kasal namin na 1M nila papa at mama binayaraaan ko ang DONORS TAX nun. may ganun pala?” the social media influencer wrote.
“Kaya nung binigyan nila papa ng 5M kapatid ko at nagbigay ako 1M sa kapatid ko nung kasal. dahil alam ko na may DONORS TAX pala, edi nagbabayad na ako nasa 360,000 ata yun kasi 6%❤️,” she further said in her post.
The socmed influencer further disclosed that the taxes for the vehicles and properties she flexes online are all paid.
“Ultimo na mga fine flex kong sasakyan at mga property bayad lahat ang tax nyan. ano ako shunggaaaa? Forda flex ng mga naipundar tapos di bayaaad? (commonsense mga people of the universe),” Rosmar said.
“Lalo na nung na imbitahan ako as GUEST SPEAKER para impluwensyahan ang mga Social media influencers, CEO, At online selleeeers para mag declare ng saleeees nila sa BIR. mas lalo kong naintindihan ang mga dapat gawin at icomply. naatasan pa nga ako nun ituro mga kilala kong di nagbabayad ng tamang tax ❤️,” she further disclosed.
Near the end of her post, Rosmar said that many CEOs were even surprised at the amount of earnings she declares with BIR, admitting that she herself was surprised.
“Sa totoo lang maraming CEO ang nagulat kung magkano ang dinedeclare ko at binabayaraaang tax sa BIR. kahit baguhan lang ako sa industry. sabi pa nga nila dapat ganto ganyan gawin. kasi kahit ako nagulat sa tax na binayaran ko simula nung nag start ang ROSMAR BRAND. ❤️,” she said.
“Basta ang masasabi ko lang. ibang iba na ang BIR NGAYON. ❤️,” Rosmar concluded.
Rosmar Tan is a famous TikTok user with millions of followers on the said video-sharing app. She is fond of posting videos showing glimpses of her life, especially her relationship with fellow TikToker, Nathan Harrison, who is now her husband. On Instagram, she has more than 400,000 followers. Moreover, aside from being an online personality, she is also known for having lots of businesses.
A couple of months ago, Rosmar called out some TikTok users who created content based on her trending Price Tag video on the said social media platform. It can be recalled there were some TikTok users who uploaded Rosmar's video on their own pages. They even included captions that the social media influencer seemed to not know her left from her right. Rosmar said that her mobile phone used its front cam, which is why the video is on reverse.
In another previous post, she shared photos on her Facebook page highlighting glimpses from the gender reveal party that she hosted. It didn't take long for her posts to go viral and receive comments from netizens. Based on her post, she and her husband, Nathan Harrison, are expecting a baby girl.
