Michelle Dee, who initially faced criticism and negative comments from some Filipinos when she clinched the Miss Universe Philippines title, shared her gratitude for the newfound support.

Reflecting on her experience, she stated, "Of course, I was one of the most bashed Miss Universe Philippines after winning. To be able to convert everyone through hard work, blood, sweat, and tears, that's an amazing victory for me."

The beauty queen expressed her heartfelt appreciation for winning the hearts of the Filipino people by representing them on the international stage with dedication and excellence.

"To be able to win all of your hearts through representing all of you with the best of my abilities, I really can't say thank you enough," Michelle shared during the interview.

She also touched upon the emotional reception she received upon returning to the Philippines, saying, "Just the way they received me in the airport, I didn't expect it. Nakakaiyak talaga," conveying her surprise and gratitude for the overwhelming support.
