Ogie Diaz, in one of his 'Showbiz Update' vlogs, revealed he was contacted by Dennis Padilla, where the latter talked about his mother.

In the vlog, Ogie began by revealing that Dennis' mother was celebrating her 80th birthday, prompting Ogie and Mama Loi to greet her.

However, Ogie also revealed Dennis' and his mother's latest conversation about the latter's grandchildren, saying she hasn't seen them for 16 years.

According to the comedian-talent manager, Dennis' mother called the actor, saying it had been 16 years since she last saw her grandkids.

"Alam mo, tumawag daw yun kay Dennis, ang kanyang mama, at sinabi niya na 16 years na raw niyang hindi nakikita ang kanyang mga apo. Sobrang miss na raw ni mommy ni Dennis yung kanyang mga apo. Naaawa raw siya sa mommy niya. At the same time, sabay sabay silang naiyak nung tumawag sa phone," Ogie said.

According to Ogie, Baron went ahead to greet him when he first picked up the call. During their conversation, Baron apparently thanked the actor-manager for his encouraging words. The 'Senior High' star even gave updates about his work conditions.

Meanwhile, Cristy Fermin, in her online show, recently defended Ogie Diaz from his bashers. On "Cristy Ferminute," Cristy reprimanded some of the KathNiel fans who were calling Ogie out. According to Cristy, she pities Ogie over the 'fake news peddler' comments he has been receiving. In the video, Cristy said, "Sobra na akong naaawa kay Ogie Diaz. Sobra na talaga."
