The comedienne said that she noticed that there are no pharmacies, even small ones, and that only diners are available.

For Pokie, she noted that these pharmacies are important whenever there are emergencies.

"Napansin ko lang bakit walang kahit maliit na pharm@cy man lang sa mga gas stops sa mga expressway? Diba importante yon kapag may emergency? Puro kainan lang? napansin ko lang naman po."

Many netizens also noted that Pokwang has a good point.

Good point, Ms. Pokie
A “pharm@cy” per se may not be profitable but I agree that they should at least have basic medicines and emergency/first aid kits.
Dapat mga convenience stores located sa mga gas stations should also have a mini-ph@rmacy na basic travel meds & supplies e.g., for fever, diarrhea, vomiting, motion sickness, NSAIDS/pain meds, cold & allergy remedies - pero need tauhan ng reg. pharmacist coz meds affect driving.

Marietta Subong or Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic. Some of her popular movies are “Call Center,” “A Mother’s Story,” and “Edsa Woolworth.” She has two daughters, Mae and Malia. Her split with Lee O'Brian has caused a buzz on social media.

Recently, Pokwang stirred a buzz on social media with her 14-minute vlog where she took on the P1000 challenge. In the video, Pokwang challenged herself to buy groceries worth only P1,000. Needless to say, a lot of netizens praised the actress's vlog since it is very timely.

She also previously created a stir online with her post. Mamang Pokie posted a video of herself walking down the streets of BGC. Clad in a casual attire, Mamang Pokie looked fresh and beautiful in the viral video. However, what also caught the attention of netizens was her caption to the post.
