Vice Ganda, in one of his latest interviews, recalled not getting a gig he was offered after he rejected their request to lower the price of his talent fee.

During his interview with George Royeca on YouTube, Vice recalled his early days as a singer and comedian back in the day.

There, Vice recalled how his Php 15,000 talent fee back then was asked if it could be lowered down, which he initially rejected.

"Dati meron akong raket na hindi ko nakuha kasi maldita raw ako, sabi nilang ganun. Kasi tinanong ako, 'Magkano ka ba sa raket, 2 hour show.' Ganyan. Sabi ko, 'ah ano po, P15,000.' Tas sabi, 'Ay pwede bang tumawad?' 'Ay hindi po kasi natatawaran yung talent,'" Vice recalled.

According to Vice, "Kasi ang pwede mo tawaran yung oras, iiksian natin yung oras, pero yung talent, hindi mo pwede tawaran."

The comedian even explained that if he was paid Php 5,000, he should cut down on the jokes he should crack at the said event.

"So pag binayaran mo ba ako ng P5,000, babawasan ko yung jokes ko? Pag binawasan mo ba ako ng P5,000, ninipisan ko lang yung blush-on ko? It’s the same level of fun, it’s the same jokes, it’s the same level of beauty ang ibibigay ko sa inyo, so hindi niyo pwedeng tawaran," he said.

Vice Ganda is a famous comedian, actor, endorser, and host in the Philippines. He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez. He and Ion got their Certificate of Commitment in a special ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada on Oct. 19, 2021.

Upon seeing his cart, Vice acted as if he was scared, which made his viewers laugh. Needless to say, Vice's video earned positive responses from netizens on social media.
