Awra Briguela, in a report by DZBB Super Radyo’s Mao dela Cruz, has filed a counter-complaint against her accuser, Mark Christian Ravana.

The showbiz personality filed the complaints against Ravana for alleged violation of Section 1 of the Anti-Wiretapping Law, Slight Physical Injuries, and violation of the Safe Spaces Act.

She was assisted by her lawyer, Atty. Mikaelo Jaime Reyes, when she filed the complaints at the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office.

Awra’s complaints stemmed from the video taken from within the police station after she was arrested by authorities.

The said video allegedly spread later on social media.

It can be recalled that the showbiz personality was arrested after getting involved in a brawl outside the Bolt Hole bar in Poblacion, Makati.

The authorities subsequently filed complaints against Awra for Slight Physical Injuries, Simple Disturbance, and Disrespect of Person in Authority.

Recently, Ravana, with the assistance of his lawyer, Atty. Nick Nangit, filed three new additional complaints against the showbiz personality for Light Threats, Grave Coercion, and violation of the Safe Spaces Act.

Awra Briguela, or McNeal Briguela, is a young Filipino comedian and actor. His popularity started when he became part of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano when he was personally chosen for the role by the show's lead actor Coco Martin. He was also the first champion for season one of the Philippine version of Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids. In 2016, Awra's life was featured in a titular episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya.

In a recent report by ABS-CBN, the showbiz personality faced more cases in addition to the earlier filed against him in relation to the bar brawl. These include grave coercion, light threats and a violation of the Safe Spaces Act. The comedian was previously charged with physical injuries, direct assault, alarm and scandal, and also disobedience to a person in authority.

The showbiz personality was previously embroiled in a controversy following his involvement in a physical altercation. It took her almost a month before she posted again on her social media accounts. Just recently, Awra posted about her upcoming comedy show alongside other actors. She likewise captioned her post with, "Ready na kami for #ComedylslandPH! August 31, only on Prime Video."
