Priscilla Meirelles, in a social media post, wasn’t able to hide her shock at the rapidly rising costs of goods in the country.

In her post, she shared a photo of a partially full grocery cart, the price of which she says, is equivalent to two large carts in the past.

According to the actress-model and beauty queen, there was a time she would go to the grocery and would often go home with two “overflowing grocery carts” with the money she spends.

“There was a time I would go to the grocery and what I just spent today would result in 2 overflowing grocery carts,” Priscilla

“Today, that's the best I can get,” she added, sharing the photo of the barely full grocery cart.

The beauty queen then expressed concern about the “skyrocketing” prices of goods in the country.

“The price of grocery items is skyrocketing in this country and that's very concerning,” Priscilla said.

Priscilla has been living in the Philippines ever since winning the Miss Earth 2004 pageant, and in 2011, she got married to Pinoy actor and model, John Estrada.

Priscilla Meirelles de Almeida, the wife of actor John Estrada, is a Brazilian model, host, actress, environmentalist and beauty queen. In 2004, she won the Miss Earth title, the pageant night of which was held in the Philippines. She also became Miss Globe in 2003.

In June of this year, the beauty queen took to IG Stories and shared that she had already reported the incident with the bank to the proper authorities. The wife of John Estrada reported the incident to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). She urged everyone to report also to the BSP if ever they became victims of irresponsible banks. Priscilla said that one must not be quiet about it and that it is time to take action.

Subsequently, she again took to social media to happily share a good news with her followers. She was able to get her money back but no thanks to BDO. It was the honest owners of "BASIC SHIRT" who returned the money of the celeb mom. One could recall that Priscilla previously took to IG and shared how BDO remitted payment to a merchant three times.
