The TV host and comedian said that a person should not say he doesn’t have any education.

“Huwag mong sasabihing wala kang pinag-aralan,” Jose, who is also sometimes referred to as “Mayor Manalo,” said.

He said that one might say he wasn’t able to finish his schooling but he still has learned a lot of things.

The “E.A.T.” co-host then identified the places where one might acquire his learning.

“Maaaring hindi ka nakatapos ng pag-aaral per meron kang pinag-aralan dahil ang pag-aaral, ang katalinuhan, at kabaitan ay nakukuha sa loob ng tahanan,” Jose said.

TV5 Manila subsequently quoted Jose with a caption known by many.

“Ika nga, education begins at home ,” the caption read.

Many netizens, meanwhile, agreed with what he said.

“Tama, Our First and Basic Education starts from home. Ang mga magulang natin ang mga unang titser. Kung ano man ang nakikita at nalalaman ng mga anak sa loob ng tahanan, nadadala yan hanggang labas. Kaya dapat ang mga magulang, sikapin maging mabuting huwaran sa mga anak,” said one netizen.

Jose Manalo is a Filipino actor, comedian, and one of the regular hosts of the noontime variety show, “Eat Bulaga.” One of his latest projects was the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry entitled “Jack Em Popoy.”

They will be working with Boy Abunda, Bea Alonzo and Alden Richards.
