Loisa Andalio opens up about forgiving Ronnie Alonte for past cheating issue

Loisa Andalio and her boyfriend, Ronnie Alonte, were interviewed by PUSH Bets Live about their relationship. The actress was asked how she was able to forgive Ronnie for cheating on her years ago.

According to Loisa, she was able to forgive her boyfriend since no one is perfect, explaining that if she broke up with him and got into a relationship with another guy, that hypothetical guy would also have flaws and shortcomings.

“Para sa akin, choice talaga ‘yun eh. Kasi wala rin naman talagang perfect na tao. Kahit ako, hindi rin naman ako perfect. Sige, sabihin na nating magkakaroon din ako ng [bagong] relationship, for sure hindi rin naman magiging perfect ‘yun eh. Kaya nga sabi nila ‘di ba, ‘I’d rather have bad times with you, than good times with someone else,’” Loisa shared.

Likewise, she believes that going through such an ordeal can make a relationship stronger.

“‘Yun kasi ‘yun eh. Parang okay na yung may pinagdadaanan kayong ganyan. Importante malalagpasan niyo ‘yun. ‘Yun dapat yung goal. Hindi yung maghihiwalay kayo nang dahil lang dun. Kasi kung sa maliit na bagay nga, naghiwalay kayo, paano pa yung malalaking bagay na dadating pa sa inyo?” Loisa explained.

Furthermore, Loisa found it easier to forgive Ronnie since he admitted his error and vowed never to do it again, contrary to past boyfriends who would deny their mistakes even if she had evidence against them. She also believes that a person who forgives will have inner peace.

“Pag pinatawad natin yung tao, magkakaroon tayo ng peace sa sarili natin. And in fairness naman sa kanya, deserving naman siya.

“Yung point na inamin niya yung pagkakamali niya, ‘yun yung malaking bagay kasi marami akong kilala sa past relationships ko na huling huli mo na, hindi pa umaamin. So mas mahirap patawarin yung mga huling huli mo na, todo deny pa. Pero siya aminado siya, at hindi na niya uulitin, eh ‘di okay tayo,” the actress said.

Loisa has been making news in recent weeks. She will star in a movie called ‘Friendly Fire,’ an esports-inspired film to be helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Mikhail Red, as reported by The Philippine Star.

In a report by ABS-CBN News, Loisa and Ronnie also discussed the ups and downs of their relationship on Bernadette Sembrano’s program “Tao Po” on Kapamilya Channel and A2Z.
