Jak Roberto had an insightful interview with Boy Abunda in the latest episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”

During the interview, Tito Boy asked Jak’s thoughts about the fans of Barbie Forteza-David Licauco love team, also known as BarDa.

“Pero dito sa setup na kinagat nga 'yong si David at saka si Barbie. At saka doon sa mga comments, may mga tao, may mga fans at hindi rin natin sila masisisi, continue to ship David and Barbie. Kahit konti hindi ka naiirita? Hindi ka napipikon?” Tito Boy queried.

Barbie’s boyfriend then honestly expressed how some remarks from the fans affected him.

“Actually, Tito Boy, nalulungkot ako sa mga Filipino mindset natin,” he revealed.

“Siyempre, hindi naman masisi, parang kahit naman ako maging fan ng isang artista talagang magiging ganu'n din ang pakiramdam ko,” he continued.

Furthermore, Jak opened up about seeing unpleasant comments from BarDa fans.

“Nakakalungkot lang kasi may mga comments na pine-personal na. Minsan, nakakapagsabi na ng hindi magandang salita. Pero ako, as artista and alam ko 'tong ginagalawan kong mundo at alam kong public figure po ako, naiintindihan ko po lahan 'yon. Nalulungkot lang ako sa iba, sana maintindihan nila 'yong trabaho saka sa personal na.”

In an interview with Nelson Canlas, Jak shared that he and Barbie were also “dateless” during last year’s Gala. He also said they wanted to put more emphasis on their clothes so they decided to walk the red carpet individually.
