Ricci Rivero and Leren Mae Bautista have recently been under the spotlight after they were allegedly spotted together at a shopping mall.

Earlier, it was reported that a grainy photo of the two shopping for plushies was posted by @slayramonaaa, a netizen on X.

Since its upload on social media, it has already gone viral on several social media platforms.

This prompted netizens to also look back on Leren's official press release amid her romantic involvement with Ricci two months ago.

"We would like to address the disinformation that has been circulating across social media platforms regarding Councilor Leren and her alleged romantic involvement with basketball player Ricci Rivero. We want to make it clear that these claims are entirely false and have no basis in reality," the statement read.

The statement continued by showcasing how Leren has dedicated herself to serving the community of Los Baños.

Born May 25, 1998, Ricci Paolo Uy Rivero, or Ricci Rivero, is a Filipino basketball player who is also an endorser for numerous brands and companies. He used to be in a relationship with Kapamilya actress, Andrea Brillantes, but the two called it quits, with Ricci confirming their break-up on June 2023.

As previously reported by KAMI, Ricci Rivero, in an interview conducted by Tito Boy Abunda, answered the question as to whether it’s true Andrea Brillantes would sometimes come home to his house and vice versa. He made the revelation in part 2 of his interview with the talk show host in the latter’s show, “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”

Meanwhile, Ricci Rivero also insisted that he is not a cheater. The basketball star also admitted that he is getting hurt by such accusations. He then said that he was standing by his word that he did not cheat, indicating that he would face cheating accusations hurled his way. Ricci also talked about his parents being approached by a person in a public place where they were told something to that effect about him.
