Sen. Chiz Escudero finally addressed the questions of many netizens with regards his "new look" on the Senate floor.

The photo of the senator donned in a fashionable white jacket, and looking dapper has gone viral.

In a report by Inquirer, it stated that the senator addressed the issue when he was interviewed over ABS-CBN News Channel.

He also clarified issues concerning fashion week, saying that he was merely the assistant of Heart Evangelista.

"Ako lang yung alalay sa likod ng asawa ko tuwing my fashion week at libre at bakante ako. Ako yung taga-laba, taga-luto taga-linis, taga-tahi pag may kailangang tahiin," he said.

He also said that he only dresses up occasionally and that he's even persuaded to do it.

"Minsan lang ako uma-awra-awra pero hindi palagi yun. Nakukumbinsi lang at napipilit,” said the senator.

The senator also proposed to set up permanent structures at the Ayungin Shoal, according to Philstar.

As per Abante, the senator also proposed an increase in the intel fund of the Philippine Coast Guard.

Francis Joseph "Chiz" Guevara Escudero is a politician and lawyer. He has been serving as a Senator since 2022. He is the husband of Heart Evangelista.
