Kim Chiu became emotional due to a story of a five-year-old “Mini Ms. U” contestant on Monday.

In the said “It’s Showtime” segment, the contestant named Rain, who lives with her family at a cemetery, expressed so much love towards her family despite their situation.

“Alam ko din Tiyang, nakatira sila sa loob ng sementeryo. Hindi ka ba natatakot doon sa loob?” Kim asked Rain.

“Hindi po, kasi ang mahalaga kasama ko 'yung mommy ko at daddy ko at kuya ko. Ayun lang po ang gusto ko,” the contestant responded.

Amy Perez then got impressed with Rain’s understanding of her family’s situation and asked, “50 years old ka na ba?”

“Saka, Tiyang, naiiyak si Rain. Bakit ka naiiyak?” Kimmy inquired.

To which Rain replied, “Naaawa po ako sa mommy ko at sa daddy ko po.”

When she was asked why, the adorable little girl answered, “Ang bait po ni mommy at daddy sa akin. Saka po inaalagaan po nila 'kong mabuti.”

“Ano ba ang trabaho ni mommy at saka ni daddy?” Amy queried.

“Si mommy po, naglalaba. Yung daddy ko po, naghahalo ng semento,” Rain said.

Rain also could not help but cry while giving her messages to her parents.

“Mommy, I love you... I love you din, Daddy,” she emotionally aired.

Kim was later caught on camera crying and wiping her tears.

“Bakit ka nalulungkot sa mga sinasabi ko?” Rain asked the host.

“Hindi ako nalulungkot, nata-touch lang ako sa kwento mo,” Kim clarified.

“Saka gusto ko yung pananaw mo sa buhay na 5 years old ka pa lang, alam mo na kung ano yung ginagawa ng mga magulang mo na nakakabuti para sa'yo. Dapat hanggang paglaki mo ganyan ha. Grateful lagi ha,” Kim added.

Kim Chiu is a Filipina-Chinese actress and television host. She broke through in showbiz after becoming a winner in Pinoy Big Brother. She was born on April 19, 1990 in Cebu City to Chinese businessman William Chiu and Louella Yap. Kim is also known as the “Chinita Princess” and was once hailed as the “Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.” She is in a relationship with actor Xian Lim.

Kim recently posted on Instagram a couple of photos taken during the signing of her renewal of contract with her home network, ABS-CBN. In her post, Kim proudly declared that she would always be a Kapamilya, adding some hashtags that she would forever be grateful for.

In a video during the contract signing, Kim delivered a heartwarming message that made it impossible for her big bosses to stop their tears from falling. She then revealed that they were there when Kim had practically nothing and so now that they’re the ones who needed help, she would be there to help and never leave them during her network’s dark hours.
