Jessy Mendiola, a Filipina actress, was absolutely ecstatic as she managed to fit into her old jeans prior to giving birth to her unica hija, Isabella Rose Manzano.

On her Instagram account, @jessymendiola, the celebrity mom posted a mirror selfie, where she was spotted sporting some gorgeous flare jeans.

However, Jessy clarified she was not trying to bounce back to her pre-pregnancy body, she was simply excited she was able to fit into her old jeans.

"Not really trying to "bounce" back to my pre-pregnancy body. It's more of I'm glad I don't have to buy new jeans anymore. I'm kuripot when it comes to clothes! Like what I always say, I'm working on my "new" body. A strong and healthy one that gave me my biggest blessing," she said.

Aside from this, Jessy opened up about having a stronger body, especially now that she has a little one to play with and take care of.

"I love playing with my little Rosie a lot. Kaya dapat marunong ako humabol kasi sobrang malikot at mabigat na siya. Masaya ako kapag nakakalaro at nakakarga ko siya ng hindi ako hinihingal," she said before adding, "I know this might sound a bit cliché but I really believe in taking care of your body no matter what season you are in. You only have one body. Learn to cherish it."

Jessy Mendiola is an actress, product endorser, and model from the Philippines. She was one of the artists launched under Star Magic batch 15 by ABS-CBN. She went on to star in the lead role for the Filipino adaptation of the Mexican telenovela 'Maria Mercedes' which catapulted her into stardom. She is married to actor and television host Luis Manzano, the son of showbiz legends Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano.

The adorable clip shows Isabella Rose, also known as Baby Peanut, showing her different cute facial expressions. As for Jessy, she could not help but gush over her baby’s cuteness. Baby Peanut’s father Luis Manzano and his friend Alex Gonzaga reacted to the video.

Meanwhile, Jessy Mendiola recently posted a side-by-side comparison of Vilma Santos to her baby. On Tuesday, July 18, the celebrity mom shared the side-by-side photo on her official Instagram page. The said photo showed Vilma and baby Isabella Rose wearing ribbon headbands on their head. Needless to say, netizens gushed over how adorable the celebrity grandma-and-grandaughter duo looked.
