Ruffa Gutierrez’s first child, Lorin Gutierrez Bektas, is celebrating her 20th birthday today, August 3.

Ruffa then wrote a lengthy and heartfelt message for Lorin, which she posted on Instagram on her daughter’s special day.

The celebrity mom expressed disbelief that her firstborn is no longer a teenager.

“To my first born, @loringabriella. I can’t believe you’re 20 today!! Time flies, indeed. You woke up this morning in disbelief that you’re not a teenager anymore.”

Ruffa went on and dearly penned, “Yes, Lorini pie. Life can be complex and daunting at times, but it’s also full of surprises. Try. Take chances. You’re a strong, determined, courageous young lady with a lot of faith. Enjoy your youth and not having to pay the bills…for now.”

Furthermore, Ruffa wrote some of her birthday wishes for Lorin.
