Ellen then clarified that she’s not really reading tabloid stuff but indicated friends and acquaintances would just tell her about it.

“Honestly Dai i'm really not into this stuff ng mga tabloids. But the first time, when Elias was involved, it was our lawyer, our ninang, Derek's lawyer, who sent that write up, that fake news,” the actress revealed.
Because there is a child involved, Ellen said they decided to do something about it but then the tabloid apologized.
“And then this is the second time, you know, I forgave them the first time and this second time they didn't really apologize, they just corrected their mistake and that was the reply,” Ellen said, indicating that it was the reply that set her off.
