ABS-CBN showbiz reporter Marion Dumaual’s death at the age of 64 broke the hearts of many Filipinos, including celebrities.
Dumaual died due to complications of his cardiac arrest last month. He also had a battle with a fungal infection and was undergoing dialysis at the hospital.
Celebrities including Julius Babao, Kuya Kim Atienza, John Arcilla, Pokwang, Wilbert Tolentino, Jed Madela, and Jugs Jugueta have taken to social media to express their heartbreak and to send condolences to Dumaual’s loved ones. Some of them recalled Dumaual’s kindness, humility and friendliness.

Mario Dumaual was a popular and veteran reporter at ABS-CBN. He is known for reporting on entertainment news and controversies. Mario has interviewed countless famous celebrities throughout his long career. The showbiz reporter died at the age of 64, one month after getting hospitalized due to a cardiac arrest.
Earlier, Priscilla Meirelles was interviewed by Mario Dumaual about her husband John Estrada. She and John went through a rough patch together but she denied that it was something major. The celebrity mom said that her minor issue with John could be compared to having a house with a broken light. Priscilla added that she and her husband are talking and that they respect each other’s space.
KAMI also reported that Ruffa Gutierrez, in an interview with Mario Dumaual, during the mediacon of 'Martyr or Murderer', addressed the issue of bashing. She frankly stated that she is thankful that she actually has bashers. The actress appreciates the fact that even though she is not doing anything, she still has bashers. Ruffa then compared herself with others, who even bare their bodies, and yet they are not noticed.
