Nicomaine Dei Capili Mendoza, more popularly known as Maine Mendoza, is a Pinay actress, model, and TV host. Maine rose to prominence after her Dubsmash videos went viral, which helped her land a role as Yaya Dub in the country’s longest-running noontime show, "Eat Bulaga." She eventually landed roles in various movies and TV series, with one of them helping her win Best Supporting Actress during the 41st Metro Manila Film Festival. The actress is now engaged to actor-politician Arjo Atayde.
Maine turned 28 years old last March 3. The “Eat Bulaga” host marked her special day at a fun party with her loved ones. Arjo Atayde, Pauleen Luna, Maja Salvador, Kristine Hermosa, and more celebrities were spotted at the party. Several photos and videos from the birthday party then made the rounds on social media.
The portraits of the previous "Eat Bulaga" hosts, also referred to as the "Legit Dabarkads," graced the walls of TV5 Media Center's hallway. TV5 took to its social media pages and shared a video of the portraits. Aside from the show's pioneer hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon's images, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Maine Mendoza, Allan K, Ryan Agoncillo, Carren Eistrup and Ryzza Mae Dizon's portraits were also spotted.
