Barbie Forteza at iba pang Kapuso artists, present sa opening number ng ‘It’s Showtime’

- “It’s Showtime” hosts and several guests had a grand opening number on Saturday, July 1

- Kapuso artists Barbie Forteza, Sanya Lopez, Pokwang, Mark Bautista, Rayver and Rodjun Cruz were among those who joined the production number

- Aside from the GMA celebs, Belle Mariano, Alex Ilacad, Jolina Magdangal, Erik Santos and Chie Filomeno also performed for the Madlang Pipol

- ABS-CBN President & CEO Carlo L. Katigbak and Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi were also spotted watching at the studio

“It’s Showtime” hosts, during the first day of the show’s airing on GTV, had a grand opening number with several guests.

The said guests include GMA artists such as Barbie Forteza, Sanya Lopez, Pokwang, Mark Bautista, Rayver and Rodjun Cruz.

Kapamilya artists Belle Mariano, Alex Ilacad, Jolina Magdangal, Erik Santos and Chie Filomeno also joined the fun production number.

Vice Ganda’s pre-recorded performance filmed at GMA Network Center was also aired during the said episode.

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN President & CEO Carlo L. Katigbak and Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi were spotted with the Madlang Pipol watching at the studio.

Vice Ganda is a famous comedian, actor, endorser, and host in the Philippines. He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez. He and Ion got their Certificate of Commitment in a special ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada on Oct. 19, 2021.

"It’s Showtime" hosts became emotional during the noontime show’s last day of airing on TV5. Vice Ganda led in expressing gratitude to the Kapatid network for providing a temporary home to the show. Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Kim Chiu and their fellow hosts could not help but shed tears when Vice Ganda thanked them for staying in the show despite the uncertainties it went through.

"It’s Showtime" made headlines after it was announced that the variety show will soon be seen on GTV. ABS-CBN released a statement noting that the noontime show is set to air on the said free television channel by GMA starting July 1. GTV also shared the good news through its online pages. Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Kim Chiu and their co-hosts then reacted to the announcement. They expressed delight over their noontime program's new home.
