Herlene Budol, in an interview conducted by Tito Boy Abunda over “Fast Talk,” revealed just how proud she is of the hometown where she came from.

The actress-comedienne and beauty queen recently was the featured guest in the latest episode of “Fast Talk with Tito Boy Abunda.”

She was asked a series of questions which Herlene frankly and honestly answered.

At one point, Tito Boy wondered why Herlene is considered the pride of her hometown in Angono, Rizal, and so proceeded to ask that question.

“Ako si Herlene, pride ng Angono, Rizal, dahil?” Tito Boy asked the beauty queen.

In her true fashion, Herlene gave a frank answer coupled with a humorous description of herself and where she hailed from.

“Umahon ako sa aming ilog, at ipinagsisigawan maliit ang aming bayan pero ipinagmamalaki ko yan,” Herlene replied.

“Napakaganda,” Tito Boy observed.

“Maliit lang po ang bayan namin eh pero ipinagmamalaki ko po yun. The 'Art Capital of the Philippines',” Herlene added.

It can be recalled that last year, the Mayor and Vice-Mayor of Angono praised Herlene for what she has achieved.

Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon called her Angono’s pride and said it doesn’t matter whether Herlene has a crown or not because she would always have the crown of being the inspiration for other youths who aspire to also achieve what she has achieved.

Herlene, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host. Herlene was first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

During the interview with Tito Boy Abunda, she also made several revelations about her personal life. One of the things she revealed is that her relatives seem to have grown in numbers and also admitted she has suitors. The actress-comedienne and beauty queen also answered questions about her love life and what she did with the first talent fee she received. Herlene, also known as Hipon Girl, recently went viral after a video of her answering the question during the Q&A portion of Miss Grand Philippines surfaced online.

Previously, Herlene's video as one of the contestants for Miss Grand Philippines surfaced online. In the video, one of the judges asked her if aside from her huge following on social media, what else does she think will get her the crown. Herlene had the judge repeat the question, which prompted the latter to repeat it, but this time around, in Tagalog. The beauty queen then answered with a mixture of English and Tagalog.
