The noontime show moved to the GMA-owned GTV after its contract with TV5 expired on June 30. They apparently did not renew the contract anymore.

In an ambush interview with the media after the formal contract signing between GMA and ABS-CBN, Vice Ganda revealed that “It’s Showtime” preparations are already in full swing.
She said that it would just like be an opening number during major events on Showtime.

“Puspusan ang preparations ng Showtime para sa July 1 kasi just like the other opening numbers na ginagawa namin pag may major event sa Showtime,” Vice revealed.
The actor-comedienne and “It’s Showtme” host also said that they won’t waste the airtime accorded them.
“Di naman namin sinasayang yung pag-ere namin,” the TV host said.
She also said that people who know her would expect something really grand.
“At siyempre, knowing me, ayoko naman ng puchu-puchu,” Vice Ganda said.
“It’s Showtime” is set to air on GTV on Saturday, July 1, which is also the same opening date and time as their rival noontime show on TV5.
Vice Ganda is a TV host and comedienne who is also known as the 'Unkabogable Star'. Right now, aside from hosting "It's Showtime," Vice is also busy making videos for his YouTube channel where he already has 7.6 million subscribers.
She has also imparted a meaningful message during the contract signing of “It’s Showtime” family with GTV. She compared “It’s Showtime,” ABS-CBN and GMA with the different aspects of being a Filipino. She said that she’s very ‘hopeful, grateful, and very excited’ in the new home of “It’s Showtime.” Beginning Saturday, July 1, “It’s Showtime” can be watched on GTV.
Recently, Vice Ganda, her “It’s Showtime” co-hosts, ABS-CBN and GMA executives are present at the contract signing event between the noontime show and GTV. Nelson Canlas just shared a video showing Vice Ganda arriving at SEDA Vertis North in Quezon City. In the said video, Vice Ganda displayed a pleasant mood when he arrived. The Unkabogable Phenomenal Star also told the Kapuso reporter that he was excited about the event.
