Yam Concepcion recently came under the spotlight after posting a short reel on Instagram about the PAFCOM Parade and Festival.

Following this news, KAMI learned that the former Kapamilya star was among the Filipinos who joined the said parade in New Jersey.

For the special occasion, Yam decided to wear a dress designed by Michael Leyva, a fashion designer based in Makati City.

"Finally got to wear my @michaelleyva_ dress for the PAFCOM parade & Festival in Jersey city! Ang saya! Salamat sa mga pumunta! ," she wrote in her caption.

It is worth noting that the former Kapamilya actress is now living in America together with her husband, Miguel Cuunjieng.

Lorraine May Concepcion-Cuunjieng, better known as Yam Concepcion in the Philippine entertainment world, is a Pinay TV and movie actress. She was born on May 27, 1988. Yam attended high school at Assumption College San Lorenzo and went on to take up Multimedia Arts in college at the College of Saint Benilde. On July 25, 2021, she tied the knot with her longtime fiancé, Miguel Cuunjieng, in New York.

As previously reported by KAMI, Yam Concepcion gave details about the different lifestyle she is now experiencing in New York, USA. Unlike her life in the Philippines, Yam is responsible for cooking meals, assembling the furniture, and keeping her home clean. She has also become used to using New York’s transportation system, which she described as great.

Meanwhile, Yam Concepcion took to Instagram and greeted her husband, Miguel Cuunjieng, on their first wedding anniversary. She posted a photo of them together, in the outdoors, apparently fishing. Her post was related to the photo where she said that for her, Miguel was her biggest catch of a lifetime. She then added that she loves him with every fiber of her being.
