Rendon Labador, ibinagsak umano presyo ng kanyang 'motivational rice': “Para sa mga Pilipino”

Rendon Labador, in a recent video, admitted they have a ‘secret menu’ at the Episode Bar where the price of his so-called ‘motivational rice’ is half of what it used to be.

It can be recalled that the Filipino staple at the Episode Bar, which Rendon called ‘motivational rice’ became a subject of controversy after its price was pegged at P100 per cup.

In the caption of the video which the motivational speaker and vlogger reposted on his Facebook account, he indicated he’s doing this for the Filipino people.

“Bagsak presyo para sa mga Pilipino #MotivationalRice,” the caption of the video reposted on Rendon’s FB page read.

The video, which was created by food and travel vlogger Manuel Olazo, also showed Rendon talking about his bar’s ‘secret menu’.

“Yung secret menu kasi, to serve the community. Kasama naman talaga sa plan nung una pa lang kasi siyempre nasa QC area tayo, wala tayo sa high-end na lugar,” Rendon said.

“Kung maglalagay ka ng isang high-end restaurant sa hindi high-end na lugar, so parang contradicting,” he added.

The motivational speaker then indicated that this is his way of serving the community where his bar is located.

“To serve the community even more, talagang dapat merong secret menu,” Rendon said, adding “siyempre para mas maraming tao ang makapag try ng good food.”

Rendon clarified, however, that his high-end menu is still there, but they came up with an affordable menu for those who cannot yet afford the high-end one.

“Meron pa tayong high-end menu, tapos meron tayong affordable menu, para pwede mong piliin kung ano ang afford mo,” the motivational speaker clarified.

“Di pa rin namin tinanggal yung high end. Kasi yun nga yung motivation dun eh, para ma motivate ka at ma-afford yung deserve mo sa buhay, yun yung advocacy natin,” Rendon said.

Rendon Labador is an influencer, vlogger, fitness instructor, and motivational speaker. His name caught the interest of netizens after he was challenged by Marc Pingris to a one-on-one basketball match. This was in relation to the comment of the motivational speaker on the statement of Gilas head coach Chot Reyes.

Recently, Rendon fired back at the statement of Toni Fowler who claimed that the motivational speaker can be considered as the most phony social media influencer. Rendon gave his response during an interview with Isko Moreno on the latter’s YouTube channel. The motivational speaker said that Toni thinks he’s “plastic” because Toni is made of plastic.

Earlier, Toni said she regards Rendon as “pinakaplastic” or the phoniest influencer ever. She said this is because she knows the motivational speaker personally and that she’s a “ninang” to Rendon’s son. Toni also said that Rendon is not always like that but surmised that he was just corrupted by the system and changed in the process.
