Eat Bulaga is the longest-running noontime program in the world. Its hosts, including Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, Joey De Leon, Maine Mendoza, and others announced last May 31 that they are separating from TAPE Inc., the company that produces the show. It is not yet clear as of this writing if the hosts will take the Eat Bulaga title with them to another network or if TAPE Inc. will keep the iconic name.

It can also be recalled that in one new segment of GMA7's "Eat Bulaga," the winner thanked Tito, Vic, and Joey, the former hosts of the show. In the segment "G sa Gedli," Yorme Isko asked one driver what can he say after being declared the winner. He then thanked TVJ. Many approved of the way Isko handled the situation, saying that TVJ were their companions before and that they would never forget them.

In that particular segment, one can see Isko and Buboy Villar were put under pressure when a tricycle driver thanked TVJ in that particular segment. Tito, Vic, and Joey recently left “Eat Bulaga” due to a huge dispute with TAPE Inc., which produces the show on GMA. Isko impressed viewers with his wit and ad-lib skills in responding to the tricycle driver. The former Manila mayor responded to the tricycle driver by acknowledging Tito, Vic, and Joey’s legacy while also promoting the new set of hosts of ‘Eat Bulaga’.
