Recently, Mamang went to the Bureau of Immigration to file a petition for deportation against Lee.

Her lawyer, Atty. Ralph Calinisan was with Pokwang to assist her in the filing.

When asked what prompted her to file the petition, Mamang said she’s doing this for her kids and for her peace of mind.

“Siguro 'yung hindi marunong magpakumbaba kasi parang feeling ko, ako ang nasa bansa ko, bakit ako ang kailangang mag-adjust, which is wrong. At ginagwa ko ito para sa anak ko, sa anak namin, sa kapayapaan ng isip ko, para rin sa mga kababaihan. Sana maintindihan nila one day bakit sobrang ginagawa ko ito,” Pokwang said.

Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic. She has two daughters, Mae and Malia. Her split with Lee O'Brian has caused a buzz on social media.

Recently, Pokwang posted a photo of her youngest daughter, Malia. It shows Malia, 5, posing in front of the gate of the Assumption Antipolo school. The comedienne also posted the caption: “Excited na yan.” It seems like Pokwang is planning to enroll her daughter at the all-girls Catholic school in Antipolo.

She also uploaded a photo of Malia wrapping her arms around her. The sweet moment happened just before Pokwang left their home for work. The comedienne had a difficult time going to work because Malia was being super affectionate with her. She then expressed her love for her cute and loving daughter.
