Cristy Fermin, in the latest episode of "Cristy Ferminute," discussed how Kuya Kim did not become one of the hosts of the "new" EB.

She said that it would seem that he got cold feet, describing it as "mukhang nabahag ang buntot."

"Si Kuya Kim Atienza, mukhang nabahag ang buntot, di ba? Hindi siya sumama sa bagong 'Eat Bulaga,' di ba?" she said.

"At maagap ang kanyang manager na si Tito Noel Ferrer, na meron siyang existing na show. Hindi pupuwede siyang tumanggap ng pang-araw-araw na ganitong programa," Nay Cristy said.

"Pinakamagandang paraan na lang yon ng pangangatwiran. Pero ang totoo, bakit ka lalapit sa apoy? Di ba? Ano? Para sunugin ang sarili mo?" she added.

"Tatanggapin niya itong bagong 'Eat Bulaga,' ang kapalit naman konsumisyon ng bashing. Bakit siya pupunta diyan? Di ba? Yun lang yon," Nay Cristy concluded.

Eat Bulaga is touted as the longest-running noontime show, not only in the Philippines, but in the whole world. it first aired in the year 1979 over RPN 9. Later, it transferred to ABS-CBN and aired there for 6 years, and then on GMA7 where they stayed for more than 28 years.
