Joey De Leon has reposted on his own Instagram Stories the social media post recently made by his son Jako.

In the said social media post, one can see two adults, one male and one female, standing by the window, with both of them holding a little boy.

The photo, based on the tags placed by Jako, appeared to be that of Joey, little Jako, and his mother, though their identities can’t be fully ascertained as their backs are turned away from the camera.

The post also seems to highlight the importance of a family as Jako wrote the word in big, cursive letters.

It can be recalled that Jako, now a grown-up man, also posted his reaction online as regards the events that transpired last May 31.

On that day, his father, Joey, along with Tito and Vic Sotto, announced they are parting ways with TAPE, Inc., the producer of the popular noontime show, “Eat Bulaga.”

There is no confirmation yet as of this writing as to whether Tito, Vic, and Joey will come up with their own new show or retain “Eat Bulaga” in parallel to what TAPE has come up with recently.

Eat Bulaga” is the longest-running noontime program in the world. Its hosts, including Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, Joey De Leon, Maine Mendoza, and others announced last May 31 that they are separating from TAPE Inc., the company that produces the show. It is not yet clear as of this writing if the hosts will take the Eat Bulaga title with them to another network or if TAPE Inc. will keep the iconic name.

Earlier, Jako also posted a message on social media about the issue of his father, Joey, and his friends Tito and Vic Sotto, with TAPE, the producer of Eat Bulaga. Jako said that principles, loyalty, honor and virtue still matter. Furthermore, he told the new hosts to avoid shedding crocodile tears and fake sentiments towards “Eat Bulaga” and its fans. He explained that those new hosts should just do what they are paid to do.

In a separate post, Joey uploaded a video on social media showing the “Eat Bulaga” hosts and co-hosts hugging each other after the sudden announcement of TVJ last May 31. It can be recalled that TVJ, comprised of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey, announced their separation from TAPE Inc., the producer of Eat Bulaga. In the video subsequently posted by Joey, one can see the love and warmth shown by the hosts and co-hosts to each other. Many netizens, meanwhile, became emotional as they wrote their opinions in the comments section.
