After winning the title, Michelle had some emotional moments with her mom, actress and former beauty queen Melanie Marquez, who won Miss International 1979.

On Instagram, GMA Network uploaded a video of Melanie hugging her daughter onstage to congratulate her.

Michelle Dee is a beauty queen who rose to fame after winning the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant. She will represent the Philippines at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador later this year. Michelle’s mother is actress and former beauty queen Melanie Marquez.
