Pokwang, in a comment on one of her most recent posts, slammed a netizen for writing a comment saying he pities the comedienne.

Apparently not taking the netizen’s comment well, Pokwang wrote a strongly-worded retort that silenced him.

In her reply, the comedienne indicated that those who pity the lives of others should first look after their own lives and affairs.

“Awang awa din ako sa mga kagaya mo na imbes na buhay nyo asikasuhin nyo dami nyong oras makialam!” Pokwang wrote in reply.

She also asked the netizen not to pity her because she was at fault for taking under her wings people who would become her nemesis in the end.

“Wag mo akong kaawaan kasi kasalanan ko nag palaki ako ng mga DEMONYO SA BUHAY KO!” the comedienne further said.

Pokwang and her estranged partner, Lee O’Brian, parted ways after several years of being together, which even brought forth an offspring in the person of Malia.

After their separation last year, the two went on a co-parenting arrangement which appeared to be working for a while until early this year when Pokwang began making “hugot” posts.

While she did not mention then who she was referring to in her “hugot” posts, many netizens believed she was directing it against Lee.

Recently, Pokwang did not bother hiding anymore the person she’s directing her “hugot” posts against, and confirmed that it was indeed her estranged partner, whom she even called “patabaing-biik.”

Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic. She has two daughters, Mae and Malia. Her split with Lee O'Brian has caused a buzz on social media.

In the same post, Pokwang also said that while Malia might have gotten her looks from her father, she is alone in raising her daughter. Malia, who is now five years old is the daughter of Pokwang and her estranged partner, American actor Lee O’Brian. The comedienne and Lee parted ways last year for some undisclosed reason. Their daughter stayed with Pokwang and for a while, their co-parenting arrangement seemed to work until early this year when the comedienne started making “hugot” posts that appeared to be directed at Lee.

In another post on social media, the comedienne revealed where the “use me in a sentence” phrase started. Her post consisted of a video that contain a digital ad for the movie ‘EDSA Woolworth’ where the comedienne appeared alongside her ex-partner, Lee O’Brian. In her caption, Pokwang pointed out to a certain “kuya” of everyone whom she said ignored some of them when his situation in the Philippines became better. Although she did not say it, some netizens believe she was referring to her estranged partner, Lee, whom Pokwang has a child with.
